Lab Notes from Mad Micas:
Unlike anything I’ve seen before outside of hydrated chromium green - and this is better. It is incredibly saturated, and I needed very little to get the color to pop.
CP Soap: Tested using both 1½ and 3 grams/pound of cold process soap batter. The 3 gram batch is incredibly rich and jewel-like - this prompted the 1½ gram test which still gave me a very bright color only slightly less saturated. Amazing.
Consistent in both epoxy resin and clear MP soap (usage in MP was ½ teaspoon per lb. of clear base). Highly predictable. -
Usage Rates:
Cold Process Soap 2-3 grams per lb of batter, or 2 tsp per lb of oils
Melt & Pour Soap 1/2 tsp per lb of baseNote: White MP base will always create a pastel form of the colour due to the titanium dioxide in base.
Particle Size: 1-60 μm
Ingredients: Polyurethane-11, ultramarine blue, chromium oxide green, mica, titanium dioxide, manganese violet, tin dioxide
