Sepigel 305

Sepigel 305 is a thickening and texturizing agent that brings outstanding results in skin-care products. Perfect for lotion-making, it helps create oil free-emulsions, creams, and thick body-butter bases without the need to heat, neutralize, or pre-mix ingredients. Thickens formulas quickly and leaves a silky, rich skin feel.

Suggested Usage Rates: 
0.5% for low viscosity lotions 
3% for thicker creams
5% for body butters

Formulating For Cream Gels:
1. Add polymer into oily or aqueous phase 
NB: the stirring step needs less energy when SEPIGEL™ 305 is introduced in the oily phase (the reversal and swelling process is facilitated)

Formulating For Emulsions:
1. Add polymer into oily phase
2. Create aqueous gel then add oily phase
3. Add polymer during emulsification phase
