Xanthan Gum is a natural source thickener and emulsion stabilizer. It is soluble in water.
Directions for use
It can be used at about 0.2% with Olivem 1000 to improve the stability of an emulsion. Typical usage rates for lotions and creams is 0.1 - 2.0%.
To disperse, pour your required distilled water into a tall container. Using a stick blender (immersion blender), create a vortex and add the Xanthan Gum. Once it's mixed it, you can add your remaining Water Phase ingredients with stirring.
