Instructions for making solid shampoo bars:

  1. Measure the SLSa and liquid ingredients into a container and mix well.
  2. Measure the BTMS-50 and butter(s) into the container and put it in the microwave in small bursts until just melted. If you would like to colour your shampoo bar, add the mica after everything is melted. A little goes a long way!
  3. Add the SCI and stir until combined.
  4. Add the cool down phase and mix really well.
  5. Glop into the mold, tap, then put in the freezer for about an hour or so.
  6. Unmold and rejoice!
  7. If you would like your bar to be a bit harder, you can add some extra SCI.

If you prefer a smooth bar, use SCI Powder.
